THANK YOU

The Edible Museum was made possible thanks to a grant from received via the LEADER program, from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The grant was matched by a Crowd Funder campaign. These funds have helped to build a bespoke chocolate workshop in which The Edible Museum can grow and thrive.

This is a really last minute decision/opportunity This is a really last minute decision/opportunity and we have pulled the stops out to make 50 more hearts to bring. I shall be there with my smiley face and worn out hands! Oh and a new piercing in my face which may not look so pretty as it is sooo fresh!
Lots of other chocolate events and stands, flowers and everything you need for a proper job V Day- just head over to for more details

Chocolate is gorgeous right? Tastes beautiful and Chocolate is gorgeous right? Tastes beautiful and you want to savour it also often you don’t just scoff it down in one go and you want to store it for a week or more (personally I think that’s insane as I eat it quick but I know many of you do)
And you put it in the fridge because it’s cool and chocolate can melt.
No! Don’t do it!

The two main reasons why are:

1) chocolate will absorb all the flavours in the fridge - you’re discerning guys with funky cheeses etc and these flavours will sneak into your chocolate over time. Not good.

2) You take it out to eat it and it’s cold - fridge cold. Chocolate should be nearer body temperature to be sure it melts in the mouth and gives off ALL its flavour.
Cold chocolate just doesn’t put out the way a warmer one does , doesn’t give up all it gorgeousness.

So store it wrapped (in it original packaging is often best) in a COOL and DRY place, this is often a dry food cupboard (not near smelly things like spices and garlic etc ) or even wrapped in a bag/ box to protect the packaging and in your wardrobe if you’re hiding it from a loved one.
If it’s super hot and you MUST put it in the fridge then wrap in foil then then in an airtight container and bring it up to room temp before eating.
Hope this helps save some hearts!!
